I hope Portugal sinks into the sea very soon, and its all the fault af a few cheating unsporting wankers

our own footballers have let our country down, but thats not the point, at least theyre not cheating scumbags

Yes but he's a winner, you're lying if you say you wouldn't want a player of his quality playing for England, **** or not

Ronaldo's pressure on the ref was pretty slimy but I think the ref had already made his mind up.

What I find far worse was Shearer's comment that Rooney should hit Ronaldo when they next see each. And people wonder why we have a yob culture in this country. The idea that this ignorant thug could have a role in the England set-up, never mind be allowed on the BBC to summarise games, is appalling.

Well if he stays in England and plays for Manure, I dread to think of the circumstances. :nono:

I would pay mega money to see somebody break his legs and put him out of football for life, if fact I would contribute to a fund to pay somebdy to do it

The video footage suggests anything but. He had given a foul - no more, no less.

It was the 'push' that led to the red.

Nice twist on words. He didn't say Rooney should. Shearer's comments were in line with what a lot of people has already thought - what will happen when those two report in for pre-season training in a week or two.

being marginally older and allegedly wiser I should berate you for this, but being of sound mind and an honest hard working Englishman, where do I send my money ?

as I've repeatedly stated, Portugal, amongst others, and Ronaldo in particular, are all that makes football a big money game . . .not a sport

Well, we'll know when the ref gives his report.

I think there was a clear stamp by Rooney and the ref saw it. The way the ref was gesturing the other players away in my view was because he already knew what he had to do with Rooney, not because he was getting talked into sending him off.
But let's see - because this will be cleared up pretty quickly by the ref himself.

I don't particularly resent Ronaldo for the Rooney incident.

Rooney acted like an utter twat, and you can't defend that.

No, I resent Ronaldo for the ENTIRE rest of his career, which he has spent diving, falling over, rolling around on the turf, crying, holding one or both legs in an agonised manner, poncing about, having a hurt look on his face, pleading with referees and generally being a complete, cheating shit.

Nothing to do with Rooney at all, he's just a cheat, with or without Mr Potato Head.

No doubt even a lad of Ronaldo's limited mental agility will now realise that returning to Manchester for the new season might be a tad painful (not to mention that his house in whatever leafy part of Cheshire he lives in has probably already been "visited" by England fans).

What are the odds that he goes booing to Ferguson and demands a transfer in accordance with his human rights?

No way will he have the balls to front it out, I reckon he'll go on strike, like the coward he is.

If I were Ronaldo I think that I would go straight to Madrid and report there for pre-season training, if he goes back to Man Utd he will probably be in need of some serious dental reconstruction, Rooney, Ferdinand and Neville....
