I cannot believe the reaction to this as I would consider it a serious matter of personal pride towards myself, my teamates and the club that pay my wages and the fact that I am doing a job that I love and that thousands of people envy me for.

Agree, but if you're that concerned contact the club don't post it on here, it just leads to gossip and innuendo.

Someone told you it happened, so it is only hearsay.

It was over 42 hours before the match not 36 as you stated. What are the club rules?

You need to 100% evidence that it happened, not hearsay, and you need to know exactly what the club rules on drinking are before you post stuff like this.

In view of that I can only agree with others that you are stirring.

Whatever. You're always posting this sort of bollocks though. Actually I'm quite surprised that you haven't already laid this allegation at Dean Cox's door.

That is something that I have never done. My information is that he struts around HH like God but have never had reports of him drinking to excess if at all.

To misquote Disraeli, scurrilous rumours with no hint of any actual evidence to back it up - the prerogative of the desperately attention-craving on NSC throughout the ages.

Inappropriate, second hand muckraking. The attempt to blame a hearsay event on the management is pretty pathetic. Put up or shut up. Not on here but to the club. If it is true and Wilkins knows about it I am pretty sure he would do something.

When will people realise that I am not blaming the manager, the chairman, the club nor most of the players, only those responsible and they know who they are, for killing off our season so abruptly.

There you are Thursday evening less than 48 hours before the Port VALE game!!

Are we begining to get to the root of the last two defeats.

Sorry to pipe in here but a couple of points have occurred to me here, just as an outsider you understand.

Now obviously i wasn't at the last 2 Brighton games but just by going on what people said on here the last two performances by your team have been pretty average at best, the team collectively not just a couple of players not performing up to standard.

The second thing is that it has been alleged that only 3 Brighton players were drinking alcoholic beverages a couple of days before these games. So what is the excuse for the other 8 as you seem to be implying that these 3 having a sup is the reason for these past 2 performances.

Once again sorry to butt in
