True but it shows a bad attitude to the forthcoming game.

It must also be added that 'pissed' is an opinion as many would appreciate when they have stopped off for 1 or 2 drinks on the way home from work to be told when they get home they stink of beer and are pissed.
It sounds like complete and utter bollocks to me. I don't believe you. Sorry.

Whatever. You're always posting this sort of bollocks though. Actually I'm quite surprised that you haven't already laid this allegation at Dean Cox's door.

I did ask is it true?

Thought that perhaps somebody else may have seen it and could confirm it.

Why are you so keen to know anyway - what is it to do with you what players do anyway ?

Or do you want to start more trouble against the chairman ?

You've posted it and stated that you have no reason to disbelieve it. If you trust your source then report it to the club. If you do not trust your source, then stop stirring.

I was talking to a friend of ours, my wife and I, and the person told me that 3 of the players who started last night were pissed in a hotel bar in Brighton at 1.30am Sunday night/Monday morning some 36 hours before the biggest game of our season. If it is true and I have no reason to suspect otherwise, I think that it is dsgraceful and perhaps accounted for the poor display by some of the players last night.

Lets see if somehow this can be turned round to blame the chairman?

More cheese anyone?

I blame Dick Knight.

There - peasy.

I thought that Cox was one of the better players last night.

So, are you going to report it to the club or are you just shit stirring with no confidence in your allegations?

Blimey, so we've leapt from a third-hand piece of tittle-tattle coming from one of NSC's more unreliable witnesses, through accusations of malicious gossip to a level of apathy for te story in the first place, to someone doing the dumb thing of wildly speculating, and not just wild speculating - a wild assumptive speculation.

Cheese?

sarcasm filter not working today al - or was it because i didnt post a jester at the end of the comment :jester:

I wouldnt report it to the club as it is not my duty but it is said that many players read this board and no doubt they will know who it is and who is letting their teammates down.
