The poll excludes the most sensible options, like

"Yes -- as soon as a non-Knight football-infatuated loony volunteers to flush his money down the rathole."

and

"No. The art of making silk purses out of sow's ears is a closely guarded Knight family secret, one we can't do without."

It is widely known that the queue of dodgy Russian petro-barons, Gulf sheiks, American hedge-fund spivs and Chinese sovereign wealth funds who are dying, just dying, to buy BHAFC, but are being thwarted by Dick Knight's intransigence, stretches all the way to Selsey Bill.

You can see the line of their Bentleys from space on Google Earth, it's that long.

Once Falmer is built but at present no as we need the current board to complete what they have told us they will deliver.

Agree. They've done us OK this far. They deserve to see Falmer built. Maybe even get the money back they've been paying in all these years to keep us afloat.

Then we need somebody else with more money to take the club to the next level.

IMHO, like.

Everyone has there life span at a football club (well that the way Dick see's it) so he should have a long hard look at himself.

Thanks for what you have done so far but you last decision was just so wrong on many standings.

Time to leave with some pride in place.

If you mean, MB, 'the decision he took in January', does that imply he hasn't made another one since in the subsequent eight months?

And even if it was a 'wrong decision' (still contentious, it appears, but for me, it wasn't - working against the club reaps its own judgements), it's not one of the big ones by which Dick will live and die, especially as it's not one he made on his own.

Just putting aside the Falmer issue at the moment...

I think that Knight's position as chairman has never been in doubt as no one else has come in with any money.

That said, it does concern me that if we don't finish in the top six this season, Knight is going to look a complete tit.

Add in the Falmer equation, and I think that if there's another set back for the start of the building works, then I do think that supporters will really start getting on his back.

As far as money for the playing side is concerned, there always seems to be this idea that we're going to uncover the next Zamora and that you can get away with signing players on a free, but players like that come along once in a blue moon and if Knight is serious about getting us into the Championship next season, then some serious cash will need to be spent in January as the squad of players, including the ones Adams has bought in are simply not good enough to consistently produce results.

To be fair, you don't need a line of potential buyers; one will do.

And Albion have been courted by David Gold and by that consortium fronted by Steve Foster - both during the decade that DK has been chairman. Personally I think the club could have done a lot more to encourage David Gold's interest, and it's not as if they've been vindicated since then. Even now the Falmer plans are being changed, and we've sacked our promising manager.

This board has run the show for ten years and the club hasn't progressed for at least half of those years.

What do you mean - 'the club could have done a lot more to encourage David Gold's interest?'

1. How much do you know for a fact the level of conversation that has taken place?
2. How do you force someone to buy Birmingham City in order that David Gold relinquish his interest there?

Since when was knowledge of the facts relevant in slating DK?

I know about as much as you do, I'm not suggesting otherwise. But I saw NO newspaper talk whatsoever that could have been considered an attemp to actively encourage his interest.

At the end of the day, Knight has been running the club for years and we've bumbled along as a mediocre division three club while over the past ten years, fans have been asked to write, pay for sky high ticket prices (not now, but was the case at one time), and throw extra cash into begging buckets of various guises. And they're still tweaking the Falmer plans and the playing side is looking toilet.

Forgive me if I soon get to the stage where I feel enough is enough.
