I know i will get panned for this and really don't care but i think gus has lost the plot. Tactically he is inept in this league. I appreciate what he has done but he can't just keep his job because he had a good season with us last year. His passing game got found out about 3 months ago, His Suarez comments, his constant moaning about refs, his ego. All this "In Gus we Trust" drives me insane. We need changes drastically not just on the playing side. That is all, happy new year to you all :moo:

Pork pie land.
Unfortunately, with the Contract he has been given, I am sure we could never afford to get rid of him. Our best hope is for some mug Chairman to nick him

Everyone thinks i'm anti Poyet. Im not, there is nothing I want more than for Poyet to turn things around. But his total stubborness to adapt styles against different opposition and his total believe that he is so right and everyone else is so wrong. His attitude stinks quiet frankly and anyone that says it does not rub off on the players. I'm sorry I just don't believe it.

I was most dissapointed about him saying racist abuse should just be ignored on the pitch and they should not be cry babies. I am not sure Liam Bridcutt would agree. Its best for Gus to keep quiet.

I do agree with you, and to be honest we can attract a much better calibre of manager now than we could in the past. The thing is, as said we couldn't afford to get rid. But if January goes buy without making 3/4 signings I'll be seriously worried

I think you're wrong, I'd expect him to flounce if he gets shit from the fans for a few games. Let's hope he turns it around before it comes to that, abuse cannnot be many games away imo.

You lot don't deserve someone of his quality. Bunch of Fuckwits the lot of you. If you fail to see how he reshaped the club from top to bottom, you are idiots. By all means question some recent results but if you think him leaving is the answer then you know NOTHING about football.

Give me one name of someone who would do better

If it's ugly against southampton, which I fully expect then I would expect booing and he wont take kindly to that I'd imagine.

Respect to you all for your views but I think any thoughts of Poyet going at this stage is a total non starter. Sack a manager for being mid table?

We're 16th, and we're only there because of the first 7 games

Yes. What did people expect from this season? After the start we had expectations obviously went up, consolidation was all this season was about. Clearly we need to strengthen in midfield, support CMS upfront and sort out discipline on the park but usual moaning gits will be bleating on. It was always a 5 year plan.

Heavy defeat against Southampton and lose to Wrexham and Gus may decide to walk. Can't blame everything else for ever. Hope not, think he is a good manager, but he has got to take some responsibilty for the way we have played recently.
