And a hell of a lot of paid for by EU , I.E British money.

The EU budget you get a massive rebate on contributions from? And from which, CAP excepted (because if CAP ended, the EU would run out of food) Ireland has been a net contributor to since 1993?

So yeah, not paid for by the EU and most certainly not with "British money". Unlike the shiney new roads in Northern Ireland being paid for with Irish money directly. Paying farmers to deliver below-cost food doesn't pay for infrastructure, it enables you to get 4 burgers for 42p in Lidl.

Of course, you've got an insane chip on your shoulder over this and continue to rattle out the same shite despite the fact I've refuted you, repeatedly. But broken records don't change.

I don't feel strongly about "the abbos" at all. But I do feel strongly that I shouldn't have to feel guilty about being English because of things that happened hundreds of years ago.

me too, our generations have got the problem/challenge of holding the planet/environment together, which is far more important than past misdemeanors.......(i fuckin hate spellcheck) goodnight.

Sorry i should've realised if you say it , it must be true, oh hang on a minute, bollocks .........again

PS So what if we get a rebate , were still contributing more than we should, and you.

I provided facts and figures last time. I'm not doing it again, as it appears you can't read something as complicated as that.

We haven't got a cent of structural funds since NDP1 expired in 2006. NDP1 received a whopping TWO PERCENT of the €57Bn of investement it made. The motorway network, schools, police forces, everything you're obsessed that "British money paid for" was paid for from our own taxation.

You're an anachronism and you're f***ing OBSESSED with this topic. Grow up.

No, you didn't. You provided no facts and figures. I did.
I'm not manipulating the truth - you, however, have invented a seperate reality for yourself.

Once again, you've got a massive chip on your shoulder and are living in the past. If anyone needs to f*** off, its you. And the schoolboy reference from someone who can't capitalise properly is just comical.

To be ironic there needs to be some irony there. Can you point to where you see any irony? Because I sure as f*** can't.

I suspect you don't know what the word actually means, rather like you don't seem to be able to do simple sums. Diddums.

the irony being the irish are still banging on about and demanding apologies for the potato famine, cromwell and drogheda, the black and tans, need i f***ing go on ? i genuinely didnt think the irony of that would be hard to spot, still i didnt allow for the paddy factor.

For there to be irony, *I* would need to be "banging on and demanding apologies". I'm not.

You really don't understand the definition of the word now do you?

Of course it is , especially considering how complimentary the irish are about us , it amazes me how chippy us english can get , anyone would think england was f***ing rammed with jocks and paddies constantly having digs and celebrating when england lose at football etc etc, f*** off mate ,the paddies are only getting back what they dish out

Wow. All you do is get angry. And let's see, you're not even a Brighton fan so you probably use other message boards. Do you get angry on them all the time like you do here? You must do. Can't be that people on here are so different. Don't you have anything else to do?

I'd love to see you call some of my relatives 'daft fuckers' and 'bogtrotters' to their faces.

Oh dear, doesn't sound like it takes much for your relatives to get a bit punchy about their sense of nationhood, especially with a few on board eh?

Not that I would want to sterotype the Irish, its a good job I didn't use the taig epithet eh?

Yeah you're right Fergus. I regret my earlier post as my relatives wouldn't give a twat like you the time of day.

Brighton factually.....
Bollocks, speak for yourself as far as ' were all claiming to have irish blood ourselves

I think there called the iwish :p

No where is it more wrong than in the states the wifes family rang up saying they had been on a saint patrick or whatevers day parade through Detroit......

There heritage is Danish/Swedish and native american........

I dont get it  there all out there waving flags and stuff theres no Danish or Swedish day and thanks giving day is a big kinda thanks for showing us to grow stuff and get through those first few years here in this new land etc Now have this firewater, some shiny beads, and here have smallpox in return then if you survive that WE WILL HUNT YOU DOWN .........

Now thats something to celebrate is it not

Ps i loved it in Michigan once a bloke in a coffee shop said to me "Top of the afternoon to you"

Also in New orleans a woman at a bar asked me if i was irish and i said "Do i look stupid" Now i was drunk and maybe not the smartest thing to say,too a woman claiming to be offended because she was irish decent but later she told me she was not and was from spanish decent. All the time three black blokes were pissing themselves laughing at what i had said and wanted to buy me drinks. It just makes me wonder why everyone loves the irish in the states. There irish jokes are about the polish.

I have nothing against the irish its the iwish i cant stand.
