There was an Albion bus that went to those. Happy days. Michael Owen always seemed to play, and before him maybe Robbie Fowler. Seemed to have real meaning back then as compared to the somewhat sterile atmosphere around development games now, but maybe that's just my wonky perception

Often the kids fell away, not making England's senior team, the theory was that they'd developed too early.

Karbownik played 73 mins for the Poland u21s today playing LWB in a very similar looking formation to the Seagulls. Will hopefully of added to his match fitness at least .
