And all keepers come to the end of their careers too, when they're not quite up to the standards of their past.

So his being injured is good news to you is it? I'd still have him as first choice. And as far as age goes, he's a better keeper now than he was 5 years ago.

Michel Kuipers is a god and a true and loyal servant to this club. Very few players stay with a club for 10 years, and we've been lucky to have him IMHO.:bowdown:

Haven't we had 3 in the last 4 years?

Mayo, Hart, Kuipers?

What are you talking about? How many people on this thread have said it is "good news".

For fucks sake, can't you just get over the fact that some people just think Brez is a better keeper at the moment? It really is that simple.

You've got me. I can't get over it. I just can't. It's got to the point where it's really effecting my everyday life.

I wasn't suggesting any number of people thought his injury is good news. I was merely questioning why a thread about this injury has turned into another round of slagging Kuipers off to the point where one poster wrote him off as over the hill.

Take no notice, Gimpy is menstruating. :tantrum:
You probably disagreed with one of his clique/family/boyfriends/whatever

I understood what you meant, it's a valid and reasonable point.
Kuipers has been with us for so long for good reason, and more than just a great 'club servant' (aka employee of long standing) he is a very good player

I would not say Kuipers is a very good player. I'd say he is 'decent' but not 'very good'

No, it just infuriates me that people take a fairly reasonable debate to heart like this. I don't think necessary.

And lets face it, how many people are really berating Kuipers on here? Probably a smaller number than your total number of dental appointments.

Erm, none of this is necessary. It's message board mate. Don't get so worked up.

I'm actually in quite a good mood today. Sorry if I appeared otherwise. :lolol:

Even the appearance of the friendless, manky-toothed, hard-as-nails steward on this thread has failed to dampen my mood.

Saw him at Nuffield this morning. Arm in cast and fingers strapped up. Could be out for a while. Will need some cover me thinks. What about Casper Scmichel (ok spelt wrong) looking to get out of Notts county

We are going to need a new keeper next year. IMO Brezovan has got away with it a bit the last few games, he isn't that solid and I think we'd need better to be top 6

Seem to remember spurs fans saying this about Gomez not that long ago... now look at him!
