I agree. It is looking more and more like there is a training issue of some sort as it's getting slightly ridiculous now. I assume no one asked about Solly's return today as there was talk of him being back before the end of the season and another poster has hinted that he may not play for us again which I hope is guesswork rather than inside knowledge of a major setback and we are just not risking him in dead rubbers? Can't wait for that new german doc to start working. What a mess we're in!
If it was down to training then how do you explain last season? It’s bad luck that’s all.
We’ve heard of players getting injured warming up before a game (not just us) so it’s just bad luck. It happens.Yet another training injury, it HAS to be the intensity of training for us to have so many of them, surely?
To answer my own question he was indeed asked about Solly being ready for next season and the answer was..."no".I agree. Yep, just listened again and the question was indeed about being ready for pre-season which does make a difference - thanks. He was actually asked if they (Solly, Jack and Karou) would be ready for the start of pre-season. His reply was Solly wouldn't be. Solly got injured late October, they then had to delay surgery to repair the ACL till the start of December as they did surgery on his meniscus tear first. Considering recovery from an ACL injury normally takes on average around 10 months to a year before a player is back in full training and getting ready to start games, then him making it back for pre-season would have been amazing. He said Hinsh and Mitoma should be back for the start of pre-season, then added Milner would be too, but Pervis wouldn't be.
Yeah, but how many times this season has RDZ done a pre match and come out with yet another training ground injury when the player seemed fine after the previous game. Seems to be every single press conference now. We’ve heard of players getting injured warming up before a game (not just us) so it’s just bad luck. It happens.
Blâme RDZ because we never had any injuries before he arrived, even though Crofty takes training. Too many training ground injuries, medical team leave en masse, new highly rated medical team come in.
None of us know anything so draw our own conclusions, mine is that the training is causing too many injuries

And these guysSo Crofty sets the training regime and RDZ sits around smoking and drinking coffee watching games on his Ipad, yeah I think I’ve got it now

Im sure I remember RDZ saying that he wants his players to train at 100% which was new to them - can't remember where now. Whatever the reason - and the likelihood is its a combination of various factors including bad luck - we could really do with a quieter treatment table next season. And these guys

Good news if not too serious. Less good news that he wasn't on the plane to Newcastle.Drove passed JP on Church road, he was walking fine so not to serious.
