Georgi certainly didn’t at the end of the first half so I was surprised to see him come out again after halftime. At a loss as to why he carried on.

That was a contact injury from the challenge on him when he scored. Likely that he injured the muscle in the second half.

We’ve gone through half a season of squad experimentation no wonder we struggle to win a league game.

This disastrous injury list certainly makes selecting a team a lot easier for Fab.
Thank goodness we don't have an additional eight European fixtures to squeeze in.

The injury situation hasn't improved whatsoever from last season and arguably worse? Also, it seems apart from Milner who's always injured and Welbz (regularly injured) most of the new arrivals having consistent injuries too! Makes me wonder if it's our training methods or even our recruitment team not doing enough due diligence?

Being in the top few places of the EPL injury table for a season and a half pretty well all the time, as we appear to have been, is it just bad luck or does it run deeper?

The only other season I remember being like this was the season Oscar was in charge.

Injury situation is a total piss take. I mean, I thought last season was just one of those injury hit seasons that come around every now and again. However, it has continued into this one and seems to be getting worse. Georginio scores two in a game...oh he's now bloody injured for a month. Short term injuries are somehow turning into long ones...on and on it goes.

Well, I suppose it DOES justify the £200m spent last summer - woithout that investment we'd be playing a team of U21s.

Yes, @Hometownglory. Suspect that others will be along dispensing their medical knowledge and insights into player situations and recoveries.

Whether it's just something to say rather than what actually happens,, but FH in all his press conferences when talking about injuries, always says the the player is the most important aspect, and we can not rush them back.

So maybe because to the issues where RDZ rush Estupinan back so that he only lasted 5 minutes coming on as sub, both FH and the medical team don't want to take any chances off something like that happening again, so are far more cautious this season, and any slight niggle results in a rest period.

The trouble is now, that we're at the stage where we've no real choice but to take risks with players we otherwise wouldn't, for example, Veltman, Solly, Danny and give them more minutes as we can hardly field a senior team, despite having 25+ senior players.

This happened last season and things just got worse and worse

Estupinan picked up a completely unrelated injury on his comeback. That was the start of this injury curse

Really ? We have 23 senior players available for Ipswich. The depth is far stronger than last season.
