Im not gonna argue, because I'm totally speculating. I think it's the training pitch, which may not be as complex as the Amex turf. Having played sports in Lancing, it got me thinking. It may just be that it lengthens recovery times.

There really isn't radio silence about these injuries . There's regular updates at the press conferences. There were updates on Welbeck , Ferdi , Jack, and Milner and the rest of the injured list just before christmas.

Its not that bizarre or strange that players get injured. And its not that strange that their recoveries are sometimes hard to predict.
