Can't believe how anxious people are getting about this. The obvious and most convenient solution is simply to take your printer and a sheet of A4 with you in your carry-on luggage and buy a travel adaptor at the airport. FFS.
If you take a whole REAM of A4 paper, you could charge all the print-challenged Albion fans €2 each to print their's and make a tidy PROFIT on the whole trip. Mwahahahahaha

100% this.

Especially as RyanAir are so good about taking on oversized luggage.

I'm on my own and was going to walk all round the city anyway and wondered whether it's possible to just keep going and rock up to the stadium safely.
One thing worth considering (although I'm sure you've already thought of it), but that is quite a long walk whilst carrying a printer.

They're good as long as you pay. Throw money at this and you will get your printer on the plane. Problem solved.

I think La Repubblicca is printed in Rome, I bet they can do some printing, not sure about pdfs though.

I'm not sure there'd be an issue from a getting-in perspective in making it the final point on your Rome walking tour, you just need to be a little bit careful as to when you approach the stadium and particularly from which direction. Per the Albion's comms:

Please note that Ponte Duca d’Aosta bridge and the immediate area around it should be avoided for safety reasons, along with the south side of the stadium.
I was reading about this bridge last night, purely by chance. It seems to be a renowned ambush point yet, despite that, it has no police presence. Also it seems taxis may drop fans off just by this bridge, as it is just a short walk over to the stadium, but it's the last place an opposing fan wants to be approaching the stadium on foot.
Looks to me that is about an hour's walk from the meeting point to the stadium - 4km - and the easiest route avoids this bridge. Quite tempting if its a nice day.

Reminds of a guy who ran a bar in Villamoura and who would print off fake handicap certificates for any golfer who hadn’t brought one out with them.

Just far enough away from LDC

This statement has been brought to you by Honest Bozza's printing service. Terms and conditions apply, printing does not guarantee ink won't melt in the heat, value of the ticket can go down as well as up

In all seriousness, if I were going I would simply politely ask whoever does all the printing of invoices, bills, menus etc at the hotel reception.

They MUST know of somewhere in Rome or the surrounding area where you could get something printed :moo:

Excellent advice all round here. Especially the tip of being dropped off in a cab at 'ambush point central'! Think we'll get the bus both ways this time as we're so near shuttle bus depature point (cabbed it for Athens though and drank pre-match with a friendly AEK lot) but if the Moretti's are flowing too well in Rome then the cab option always rears its head ; -)

and Acta Diurna was produced in Rome. Maybe we can ask them to help with the ticket? A ticket chiselled into a stone tablet will make an excellent souvenier as well.

Printed tickets sound like a nightmare. What if some n’er do wells decide to print and sell multiples of the same ticket in Rome - and ticketless fans take a punt that the ID won’t be checked at the gate? I wonder if this is what actually happens when there are crushes outside because people are claiming that their tickets “aren’t working” at the gates.

Is this so they can park their golf buggies in a disabled bay?

You need to inform someone about this. Go right to the top and talk to Toner Bloom c/o Brigh-Canon Hove Albion FC

I am staying in a hotel right near the ground. I didn't go to Marseille. I had no problems walking to my nearby hotel in Amsterdam.
Do people that went to Marseille think I will be able to slide away without getting on a shuttle bus or will I be herded on and smacked around the head with a baton for trying to walk away?
