Set up a quidco account. You receive money back for online purchases, then use it to get cheaper quotes for insurance and gas/electricity and sign them up online going through your quidco first.

For example, changing my friend to Lloyds car insurance, she saved on her premium and I got £130 in my quidco account!

Changing your home phone also gets money.

Another idea is - if you have half an interesting story, pm me and I'll pitch it to a woman's weekly - you get around £100-£250 for very little effort!

I had two stories go in December - one was just a 'health' special at £100 and one was a true life story at £250.

I used to have a landlord who never paid for his own lunch, he'd simply walk purposefully into the staff canteen of a business, a large shop, a hospital, etc, pick up a tray and tuck in. Apparently he'd get caught and chucked out once every so often, but hardly ever.
