[Albion] If we stay which CBs will be with us next season?

Have you been to a game at Leeds when they are doing well? The atmosphere knocks the Amex atmosphere into a cocked hat. We think we have a good away following, not compared to Leeds we don’t. History may not count for much in your eyes but for players and neutrals I suggest it’s a no brainer. Leeds are a MUCH bigger club than us

Anyway this is just my opinion, I hope I’m wrong

Potentially Leeds are bigger, but not at the moment. And if they get promoted, and we stay up, they will be shorter odds than us to be relegated next season. This will make us a better bet for potential signings and existing players like White.

As a Brighton fan I don't want to see Dunk go because he is our best player and holds the team together. I think he has been instrumental in keeping us up, so people saying they feel he should be sold even for his 'own good' should be careful what they wish for.

I also don't get this 'give Ben White another year on loan' him playing for another club doesn't benefit us IF he is better than what we already have and if he isn't then we will need to see who else is around because Webster is not improving and I don't see Clarke or Burn as being good centre halves based on Burn's inability to win the ball in the air. I would add I have not seen a lot of Clarke but as stated earlier he is not pulling up the trees.

IMHO Dunk & Duffy will leave in the summer for different reasons, regardless of which division we’re in. Should we be relegated and the transfer rumours about big clubs showing an interest in White I’d imagine he might be keen to play in the PL.
It’s feasible that we could recoup £65-70m by selling these 3 once the window reopens.
Burn was v impressive in the cup last season at CB and think he’d be good enough there in the PL and Webster without Dunk keeping a eye on him all game might improve and show the confidence he had at Bristol City.
Haven’t heard that Clarke is still impressing as much as he was early in the season though but good enough back up if back in the Championship.

Leo Skiri Østigår ?

I want Duffy back to d/w aerial set pieces with four at the back, starting XI.

4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3

Webster - Duffy - Dunk - Bur

I strongly suspect that back four will be rolled out again on the 17th May but is it worth keeping Duffy for the handful of games against the likes of Sheff Utd & Burnley where we willingly and effectively drop Potterball for a more Hughtonesque approach? I suspect the player won’t tolerate that.
