[Albion] If Ferguson is now worth £51m, maybe Hürzeler might consider letting him play?

When a player is on loan if they suffer an injury it is almost always the case that they’ll return to their parent club for treatment, at least for an initial assessment. This has nothing to do with any loan cancellation or recall clauses and if they recover they can return to play for their loan club.
Exactly - because the loan agreement is still in place - never was, nor could have been, cancelled outside a transfer window.

Probably already been said but if he HAS to go on loan it should 100% be Leicester.

- Premier League football
- Score some goals to take points of some of our European rivals
- Build up relationships with Buananotte for when they both return next year
- Get coached by one of the greats to play his position

They can't both go out on loan to Leicester  I otherwise agree and would be willing to recall Facu and find him a new loan if it meant avoiding sending Evan to a Southampton where he would barely develop or a Wolves or Ipswich where he would not be the automatic first choice striker.

Fair enough, didn't realise that was a rule.

Not read any previous pages of the thread so apologies if that's been well and truly covered.

Brighton factually.....
Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler on Evan Ferguson potentially going out on loan in January: "I don't know where this information comes from because I said to Evan that I am happy that he is here and I am happy how he is training and what shape he is in physically and mentally.

"Of course he is a young player and needs game time but a great example of this is Igor [Julio]. Nobody expected Igor to play that many games but Igor always made sure that he was ready for games and when he gets the chance, he uses it. He always trained hard, he never complained, he accepted his role and when he got the chance he was there. It is the same thing I demand from the other players.

"It's what I demand from Evan and it's what I said to him. I've never said anything about a loan. We are happy Evan is here and I'm sure he can help us next week."

Job done, he is gone in January to Wrexham then

That headline is a HUGE distortion of what FH said at his presser. Worth watching his actual answer to both the question on Evan and the one on Enciso to get a bit of (heaven forbid) context.
Edit: or you could just read the post above this now 😄

That don't bode well ☹️

A half-season loan to Celtic would have done all parties a world of good
No it wouldn't.
It MIGHT do Evan some good, it might not.
However it absolutely will NOT do BHA any good THIS season. Only 12 games in it is THIS season which counts, not the next.
If he needs competitive minutes then play for the U21s in between match day squads. He'll get lots of minutes for the first team over the Xmas period anyway, then it's the FA cup.
