Yep. She is the one of most self serving individuals you could wish to meet. She has no interest in the Brighton constituency she claims to represent. And will gladly 'piggy back' on the achievements of other organisations and individuals and generally give them a belated endoresement.

Reminds me of a Tory MP we used to have called Spencer! He didn't even has the decency to turn up for the results as he knew he'd been mullered in the polls. He used his Brighton seat as ( he believed) a stepping stone to cabinet position. Last seen Brighton Station platform 6 getting a train to ' who give's a shit ville'...

I've no idea what your point here is. Agreed, yes - there is a massive drug problem in Brighton.

Agreed, yes - it's a massive drain on resources.

So why not try something radically different from the hugely expensive "War on Drugs" that has so comprehensively failed and left us in this situation.

Far too sensible. He'll never go for it.

Massive drug problem in Brighton. Draining on time and resources at RSCH.

I agree there is a massive drug problem within Brighton, however there is also a massive drug problem in a lot of other places within the country. And surely drugs is a massive drain on resources now anyway? As been said, why not try something different?

Every drug taker starts with the softs 'cannabis' or maybe ketamine nowadays then graduates to the hard stuff usually heroin.

So they allow young impressionable people to buy soft drugs as freely as the can ciggies.

6 months later they die with a needle sticking out of their arm.

The war on drugs may be slow, but it will keep the children of decent clean living people safe from the horrors of addiction.

Derek 'I'm here to stay' Spencer. Yeah he lost quite badly to Lepper I think. 18% swing I seem to remember.

The people who should be put in jail are those who supply the drugs to these children. How is putting these youngsters in jail, where there can be habitual drug use, going to help them get clean? It isn't. We need a new system implemented. Legalising drugs as a whole may not be the way forward, however an overhaul of the current system is desperately needed.

If you are under 16 it is easier for you to by cannabis than cigarettes right now under current policies.

The war on drugs is completely ineffective, anybody that wants to buy drugs can. I don't think changing the legality will change that. Look at the statistics of young people who have tried drugs, the current laws just are not a deterrent.

And you ignored my previous comment about drugs and youngsters. Amazing...

What this one?
