Sorry I haven't managed to get in to this thread at all because I can't for the life of me work out what you are saying here. It's been very distracting and I keep coming back to it. Do the literally and the double quotes cancel each other out and you needed them in there to meet some sort of character count target, or are you trying to make some sort of point by doing this?

Ok then. The term "sold the country down the river" is an old saying, least it is if you are of a certain age. Also i believe that selling off our utilities elec, water gas, car industry etc is also being "sold" ........so i just thought that most posters would catch on to the double meaning.....obviously not.

And I'm assuming that you are one of the people that shouts "RACIST" the moment anyone suggests a serious discussion on immigration limits ?

Little Englander is my preference.

That is your arguement/retort eh. Meanwhile any opinion against the cost to our country, population, size of country, benefits to said country....can not be discussed because you perceive anyone that is against/worried....a Little Englander.

Correct. It's wrong, in my opinion, to label such types as racist. I'm sure many are but my default label is little Englander.

They are all bad as each other. Diane Abbot saying last year when cuts were being introduced that can't white people be sacked before black people. She kept her job but what would of happened if the tables were reversed? We all know. I could quote Tories, Lib Dems and Labour politicians saying just as bad things as Ukip but it seems only Ukip are racists, homophobes.

Used to have respect for that women a few years back. That has gone out of the window. OK for her to say these things, nobody says a dicky bird about that do they. Please tell me what party she is associated too again? Mention any concerns about migration and your labelled immediately. Could you imagine lab lib joining together, what a complete nightmare. When Labour get in you can expect UKIP to start taking votes off them.

Oh come off it - you label anyone with that title that is against uncontrolled immigration or the EU exactly BECAUSE you know it's insulting. You support the EU, fine, stay in an EU member country but at least allow those of us still in the UK to decide if we want to stay in or leave without the "Little Englander" insult. You've said many a time that you couldn't care less if the UK stayed in or left but yet you find it impossible not to comment on such threads - that suggests you do care.

I think you're being unfair. I use this term because it's the best description of your mentality I can think of. If I wanted to be insulting I would indeed be insulting. But, I like to be polite and do not want to upset anyone.

Everytime you mention it though I get a mental image of Warwick Davis waving a Union Jack.

Personally I find it insulting - it implies, thanks to other posters who shall remain nameless and some press, that "Little Englander" = xenophobic. As you know, I'm not convinced that the EU is a good thing for either the UK of for many other members ( perversely it is for Germany ! ). I fail to see that as a xenophobic belief and currently the party that best represents my chance to vote on the EU membership is UKIP. Yes it does have it's idiots but so do all other parties. If your use of "Little Englander" is descriptive rather than insulting then fine, I'll accept the tag.

This it what and how Labour councilors treat English people. Discrimination is one way traffic in the once proud country, you can discriminate against the English but not anyone else.

This is an *accidental* recording via a home security system of Wayne Naylor on the right who is a Leicester city Labour Party Councillor for the Braunstone Park and Rowley Fields area who is admitting to a fact that the Labour Party's Leicester City Mayor Peter Soulsby committed to the illegal act of discrimination by treating the English Community Group (Leicester) less favourably than other ethnic specific community groups on grounds unrelated to merit but simply because they belong to a particular ethnic group, which is the definition of 'discrimination' in law but that's ok because white people can be discriminated against.

You can almost hear the straws being clutched in that footage. Is that desperate film the best you can come up with? And how seriously can you take a man with artex ceiling?

The British had been discriminated against for 13 years (1997) when Labour was in power and still goes on today under the tories and lib dems. Discrimination against working white class is ok but when it's against minority groups then there's outrage.

Correct.
After the way the 3 main parties have literally "sold" this country down the river, i shall vote for any party/independent ( except the Green loons) that stand against them.
The smearing will continue no doubt to discredit, until the sheeple either fall in line, or any party that rocks the boat disappears.

This is a comment that is being repeated again & again

Recent polls by the Independent and Daily Mail found that UKIP is the most popular party amongst their readerships. God help us if they somehow came into power, there would literally be riots.

So there hasn't been riots over the last 30 years? 1981 Toxteth riots, brixton riots 1985, Tottenham riots 1983, and the whole country in 2011. What point are you trying to make?
