Those who didn't go missed out. I find it strange some people seem to need to belong to this online community (how many thousnad posts?) but don't see going to games as a priority. Some people have good reason, some don't. But in the end this is why we NSC, isn't it, not to compare opinions about the McCanns or whatever.

I can't get to many games because of where I live and other commitments. Still I would hazard a guess that over the last thirty eight years I've seen a few more games than quite a few others.

I was spending it with my three and half week old son. I feel SO ashamed.

You two really are a f***ing TWATS.
My son is 3 weeks old and walking backfrom the game I relaised how much I missed him this afternoon so take your point.......I tried to explain to him when I got home we had won 3-1 and how great this was he just yelled and promptly attached himself to Mrs HB&B's left tit.

Good to know you have your priorities right. (That's sarcasm BTW).

Going to games may well be a priority, but is it a REALITY every other week if you live in Manchester? Perhaps you have to work on a Saturday. Maybe you're unemployed or have a family that you don't see Monday to Friday, or can't afford to take to a game. Perhaps you're on holiday or ill.

I'm sure all of us would love to be there for every game, but it isn't always that easy.

Ashamed my arse.Football is supposed t be an all round experience. If your idea of value for money is paying iro 25 quid and wondering if your team are goin to 'turn up' today,it aint mine.Positively encourage an atmosphere, create an area for people who wish to smoke and open an outside bar, then i think you might see a few more of the absentees. It aint rocket science and 'where theres a will'etc....

Well, we won't be seeing YOU anytime soon, if your priority is whether you can smoke or not. Are there any OTHER habits you place as so important as to see them as reasons not to go to matches?
Maybe they can have a bar for every stand at the stadium, so people can sit in it and drink instead of watching the football?

Maybe those habits of yours are also the reasons why 25 quid is not affordable?

I'd love to be going regularly but my son is my priority at the moment, and he couldn't sit still for 90 minutes let alone about 3! So we listen on the radio and watch Sky updates on tv, and when he's big enough we'll go....thankfully places like NSC exist so we can chat with people sort of like we're sitting next to them at the game...

So give me all the crap you want but I couldn't give two hoots!

Indeed. Why do people fall for this sort of thread every time?

It's not about 'falling for it' as far as I'm concerned.

He's gone on for so long about this kind of shit that I think he actually believes it now.

Wind up or not, it really is a bit tiresome now.

I KNOW he's on the wind because I spoke to him at length about it last year but I think he really is starting to get sucked in by his own BUFFOONERY.

:D

I've met him too and it is just a great big wind up. I can't believe people are still falling for it.
No, he doesn't believe it, he's sitting at his computer laughing his head off.
