People post on here with all that passion, all that knowledge or past games, all those thoughts on Wilkins tactics and then you find out their excuses on a thread like this as to why they dont go. Thats why we will always be a small team with potential rather than a team who regularly play it at the top like your Middlesboro`s or your Ipswich`s. Football is not the most important thing (not if you have a family that is ) but its better than going shopping, sitting at home watching TV or posting drivel on messageboards at 3 o`clock on a saturday afternoon.

Yes, of course I WANT to go and I have to money to do so. But I also have other things in my life that deserve my time as well. I therefore have to make a choice which today, resulted in me going shopping with my family.

That doesn't make me any less of a fan of Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club as Mr Hove Born & Inbred seems to suggest.

I would say that makes you a shopper and a family guy. Certainly not an ardent football fan. Go shopping on a Sunday?
