A Sheffield Uni-based twat on the Argus website is threatening to do a Newbury By-Pass and form a human shield in that muddy field, should we get the go-ahead for Falmer.

Now, this has worried me for a while, especially as my own missus has come into contact with many tree-huggers over the years who will blindly jump at ANY opportunity for a bit of a scrap with the authorities.

Again, I don't condone violence, but such a conflict would be more lawful than the Gulf War.

It would be the eco-warriors Waterloo. This would be no "normal" sitaution they'd find with a by-pass protest. You're not likely to get 1000s of extremely pissed off people, tired & frustrated after 10 years of hurt wanting to do nasty things to them when digging in somewhere in rural Hampshire!!

I have this image of Albion suppoprters massing in Wild Park to march up the A27, military style, singing rousing Albion Anthems & scaring the poor little blighters witless before even reaching Stanmer Park!!
