Ah Norwich 81 and the debenhams incident, think we were somewhat worked up by the time we made the ground

Nazi sympathiser ??
No... we used to sing "there ain't no black in the Union Jack, join the national front" .... But we were mostly ignorant of what it all meant, or at least how sinister it all sounds now that we are older and wiser,.....to add context the late 70's produced a nation split on very polarised positions, in politics, music, fashion and the most tribal of all, football.
Skinhead ??

True, were you a Brotherhood of Man or a Dooleys follower?
No, he's right. The last game v Donny.
Handing out leaflets for a political party would be illegal now ?? I very much doubt it.I'm sure it would be illegal now and might well have been then. However the Police (generalisation of course) were out and out racists back then and cared little for the law at football matches
It just reads like something you really wished you had the bollocks to do, but didnt.Absolutely. I'm not stupid.
I vaguely recall Chris Ramsey being subject to monkey noises from our own fans when he made his debut for the Albion at Selhurst, which was wrong on an awful lot of levels.
Are you referring to our 3-0 win which relegated them from Div 1 in 1982? If so all the racial abuse came from Palace that day.
