£50m plus a sell on clause
This.
Very pleasing that most of us have a similar view and have not given up on the lad.
Albeit, the right offer is always a right offer.

speculation is going to fuel even more upset and arguments …
Who’s going to get upset and argue? Evan? Posters on here?

I've gone £50m + a percentage sell on, as I don't think anyone will pay that and I'd rather keep him

But every player has his price for goodness sake, just common sense.
I think West Ham would tbh. They offered £57m for Duran (which AV rejected).

The sell on is crucial isn’t it?!.

I felt your response was patronising.
Not my intent. Apologies if you felt that.

Instead, my post was intended to convey the irritation that I felt at reading what I see to be yet another attempt to be the unofficial NSC transfer monitor.

((I’m glad this site allows us to express our respective, differing and legitimate POVs though without condemnation and put down from others) 🙂

Me too.

😂 Take a look at the Ferguson and Transfer threads.

Yes, I know NSC loves a binfest 🙄
I think it’s just you getting upset.

We will sell him, Danny will get crocked again and Ferguson will be turning it on at another club whilst we wipe the egg of our faces. Would be madness to sell him. Kid needs time and games. We've already let Gyökeres and Undav go, let's not make it a hat-trick of 'why did we let him go' whilst we are scraping around trying to find a forward to cover for Danny.
£60million and no less.

I will be very disappointed if he goes on loan and devastated if he goes permanently. Surely one of the aims of our manager was to utilise the young talent we have at the club.

If Evan goes that will make four of our brightest talents (imho) out on loan, two in positions we lack cover. I understand that we don't know the full story around this stuff but the red flags are getting bigger and my concerns growing.

'Why fuel speculation?'

*I should point out that this is a light-hearted – and probably misplaced – attempt at humour and not in any way, shape or form, designed to be partronising, offensive or derogatory, etc, etc. As someone from the past NSC used to say 'Im just haveing my views'*

He'll come good by 2027/2028... and then demand to leave when Liverpool come calling....

Another baiting comment.

Why get irritated? You are reading far too much into my intentions - You got that one wrong too about the comment I made to another member the other day that our MUTUAL discussion might for another thread because we were getting off tangent - it is NOT “moderating” a thread to suggest that we both let a discussion go if it is getting too off tangent, posters do it all the time. Nor was me asking why (a question!) start something that would fuel even more unfounded speculation and give weight to rumour?

I would suggest we let this discussion go too so this thread doesn’t become even more derailed but I am concerned you will get ‘irritated‘ again and tell me I was trying to be a ‘thread monitor’ in the hope you will get more thumbs up….

So just for you 👍👍👍👍🙂

I will happily let it go.

Will you, or will you have to have the last word?

Gyokeres was one of those things that will happen now and again. No one could have predicted he would get this good at the time but we did well out of the Undav deal.

Personally, I would accept £2m.

I'd buy a new house outright, and invest the rest.

How much should BHA accept?

Probably around the £25m mark, realistically,

Has shown great potential at times, but has been in poor form for more than a year now, suggesting that he might not be the elite striker that we hoped.

Cash out at £25m and reinvest.
