Personally Im going to be screaming at him exactly what a VD ridden Judas ex scum wanker I really think he is!

Will be interesting with the Reading fans doing exactly the same to Mcghee!

Applause. Did a good job while he was here and has done some really good stuff for the Falmer campaign since he left - I will definitely not be booing him!

He signed a new contract then walked out a couple of months later. In my book that's Judas behaviour and he should be reminded of that.

Similar to what Adams did then, yet he is still regarded as a legend.

True, but Coppell nearly achieved a miracle in keeping us up and he always had a lot of respect for us more so than Taylor I reckon.

I am gonna give the JUDAS a hell of a load of stick. He stalled on a contract at a club that treated him with the respect that a manager deserves. 2 months after he finally signed it he pissed off at the first chance he got leaving us well in the lurch, it is **** behaviour of the highest order and he needs to be reminded what a VD ridden Palace wanker he really is.

If the University across the dual-carriageway offer you double your salary to go and do a job with a lot more responsibility and they have a lot better facilities, a nicer canteen, more pubs and fitter students would you take it?

as has been said before, did he walk out or were the board more interested in the compensation?
In retrospect I hope the story about allowing Coppell to leave in order to claim the compensation is 100% true. I didn't believe it at the time and I wanted Coppell to stay, however if it IS true it is further proof the Dick Knight knows far far more about running a football club than any poster on here - including me.

Not taking anything away from Sunday, but I suspect with Coppell in charge we would have pissed this division. However credit to the current management for turning some poor results round and giving us our day out.

What if they sold your offices and you had to work from a cold, wet park bench for a few years?

And if you had to continue working from the park bench your business may cease to exist.
