Coppell is a decent bloke, for whom we got reasonable compensation. He let us down, that is for sure, but it was never a marriage made in heaven let's face it.

I may or may not boo. If I do it will be for the fun of it, rather than with any vitriol.

Dick Knight turned Coppell down initially in favour of Martin Hinshelwood.

Remember who signed Leon Knight.

He had not poached any players.

He has heavily backed our stadium SINCE moving to Reading.

I will not applaud, but I will certainly not boo.

How about a bit of humourous booing?

Can we do that?

We'll that is bollocks.
We think he's great, he's bought in good players, tightened up our defence, and got us playing good football.
And he won't try and pinch Knight, that's for sure.
We've got Kitson, Forster, Goater and Owusu, and I would rather have the first 3 at Reading any day.

Coppell has a good eye for a signing.

I am surprised nobody else took a chance on Kitson long before Coppell stepped in, his record for Cambridge was fantastic. £250,000 is a bargain.

I know for a fact he had a £75,000 offer turned down flat for Kitson when he was with us, so therein lies the reason he left.

I'm more than happy with Mark McGhee though - I think he is a brilliant manager with a great track record and will keep us in division one next season.

Interesting that all our ex-managers that left us to join 'bigger' and 'better' clubs are now in the same division (or lower) as us.

SHOULD AVE STAYED WITH A BIG CLUB!
