The one that stands out for me was at the Event in the mid-nineties. Anybody else see Black Grape there?

Fantastic - one of the best gigs I've ever been to.

Seen all those but most were not in Brighton probably.

I saw Black Grape at the Brighton Centre - does that count? Massively grand band, much underrated, tighter than the Mondays, sharper lyrics, the Second Coming of Shaun Ryder. If memory serves, Bez was missing for some reason and Kermit was bright yellow through just having discharged from hospital followingh a near-death experience with hepatitis.

Close call with the above, but best gig bar none I ever saw in Brighton was Leftfield at the Event. Astyoundingly good, and louder than WAR

I was also at that gig. No Bez though and definitely muted in comparison with the Event gig.

No, didn't go but watched it on telly :lolol:

No Elmo top :( smallest size is 12months, Elmo is around 4-6 months in size.

Guy in shop, said bring baby in and try it on! I think he would have a shock if I bought a laughing, red furry thing in as 'my baby' :lolol:

I saw Level 42 at The Dome & was violently sick. Quite appropriate under the circumstances! Led Zep played at the Dome to promote their fourth album. Are you sure they played at the Uni? I saw The Who at the Uni once with The James Gang & Roger Ruskin Spear. Virtually anyone who is/was any good played at the Dome at some point.
