How long is your commute to work?

I've just started a job that is fifty miles each way to the office. Can be tiring, but gives you a chance to chill out before getting home. Unfortunately the downside is that I'm in an office full of Saints fans!

How long is your drive / train / walk /swim / fly to the office????

About an hour and ten minutes. 35 mile drive then 10 mins on train or mersey ferry depending how I'm feeling.

Used to be over two hours when I commuted to London from the Kent coast.

Do you drive or get the train to work?

I could not stand driving 100 miles per day, I'd rather get a different job!

In a 'temporary' office for another couple of months that is a 30 minute drive. When I return to my normal one eventually it's about 1hr 50m each way with walking to/from station, train and waiting for connecting trains.

The longer I can stay at the temp place the better!

I dont see the downside to that. The office will be quite jolly I imagine and full of a general better quality footy fan.

I dont envy you, and to be honest driving home along the A27 wont be chilling out. It'll be a mare and youre talking over an hour. Still at least you have a job and thats the important thing.

I work in Crawley which can be a mare getting up the A23 but generally takes around 30 mins ish. Got an interview next week for a job in Sayers Common - 7 miles/11 mins. Could be happy daze.

5-10 min drive each way.
20 mins cycle there, 10 mins home.
35 min walk each way.

I rarely drive. I'd like all those that drive less than 3 miles to work without extenuating circumstances to have their cars confiscated for the day :)

24 miles, 13 roundabouts, moments when your in traffic and times when you can floor it, usually listening to talksport, though that has gone downhill the last few years. Drive west in the morning so never get sun glare, which is nice.

Walk (or car if late/lazy/raining!) - train - walk (or bus if wet or one comes along at the right moment).

Door to door... somewhere in the 1:45 to 2hr range.

I work from home as often as possible... 2 days a week and more if i can find any excuse.

10 minute walk through Preston Park.

After years of hour commutes living in London, it's bloody marvellous.
