Just dropped someone at Knoyle Road Hall PS and the old boy was in and out in two minutes, it looked very quiet.

Getting the old boy in and out in two minutes can sometimes be a good thing, but not today!

With the voter suppression (sorry ID) legislation this may see an even lower one this time. Interestingly labour voters historically vote later (it's a factor in assessing the exit polls)

Walked past mine up at Fiveways at about 12:15 and there was a queue of about 6 people waiting to get in. Going back in a minute to perform my civic duty, so I'll give an update later - which I'm sure will be eagerly awaited.

This is a snap summer election- postal voting will be quite high with (childless) people on holiday before the price hikes. It’s estimated about 10m people voting with postal votes, many more than in 2019, simply because it’s more convenient. (About a 20% increase) so expect Polling stations to be quieter than expected especially in rural areas.

Further observations from Preston Park (Knoyle Hall polling station). Just after 7am, the lady outside the polling station was representing the Green Party. No other party's representatives were present. Since then, on three seperate occasions nearby, I've seen three seperate Green Party representatives earnestly consulting voter lists. Again, not seen a single representative of any other party. I'm thinking that either the Greens must be a bit worried and Labour are being a bit complacent, either that or Labour have thrown in the towel already

I'll update you soon. I guess as a Labour member I should be volunteering for stuff like this, but honestly f*** that, I've been told plenty times someone with my socialist views ain't wanted - OK I listened and acted accordingly

Felt distinctly lonely when l rolled up at the Cowfold Polling Station at 10.30 this morning, no wannabee candidates standing outside eager to obtain my vote, just two polling clerks. In and out in two minutes flat.
