[Politics] How busy are the Polling Stations where you live?

My polling station happened to be at my daughters school, so I voted there once I'd dropped her off this morning, along with many other parents!

Just been and had to queue for 10 minutes! Very busy. This is in Hove. Suspect a lot of people working from home decided to do the same as myself.

I’m in a WhatsApp group and they are convinced a) it is super busy and b) that means reform are going to beat the tories.

We were the only people there. Ladies in there said it had been steady but not very busy. Not many names crossed off the page of the electoral roll that I saw.

Further observations from Preston Park (Knoyle Hall polling station). Just after 7am, the lady outside the polling station was representing the Green Party. No other party's representatives were present. Since then, on three seperate occasions nearby, I've seen three seperate Green Party representatives earnestly consulting voter lists. Again, not seen a single representative of any other party. I'm thinking that either the Greens must be a bit worried and Labour are being a bit complacent, either that or Labour have thrown in the towel already

Queue of about 7/8 old people when I went to vote about an hour ago. Then I remembered, it is Westdene

Short queue but got held up by the kerfuffle when a chap in front of me didn't know he had to register to vote ! This fella must've been late 40s and presumably this must've been the first time he'd ever bothered going to vote. I think that's an indicator of a high turnout. Well, either that or lots of people being turned away....

Further observations from Preston Park (Knoyle Hall polling station). Just after 7am, the lady outside the polling station was representing the Green Party. Funnily enough only rosettes I saw this morning where two Greens, the theatre of trees polling station having been divided in two and one at each entrance. I did see Peter Kyle with a few red rosetted supporters just off Hangleton Road this morning. There certainly seems to be far less rosettes and posters generally at this election though

Just dropped someone at Knoyle Road Hall PS and the old boy was in and out in two minutes, it looked very quiet.

Walked past mine up at Fiveways at about 12:15 and there was a queue of about 6 people waiting to get in. Going back in a minute to perform my civic duty, so I'll give an update later - which I'm sure will be eagerly awaited.

EDIT: As promised here is my update: No queue! Just walked in, flashed my bus pass and got my voting slip. The fact I'd forgotten my glasses and was confronted with a blurry bit of paper was all part of the fun.
