You are a smarmy prick it has to be said.
Think he’s just trying to show off as he made a right twit of himself over Ajax; claimed he was a seasoned traveler then got screwed over by a price scanning website which any seasoned traveler wouldn’t use. :lolol:

I used kayak which is massively popular. And it was for Marseille, not Ajax. Ajax the BA flights were free for me with avios and the ticket in the owners section was free ;)

What a pain, only passing on how somebody else did it
I’ve no doubt it worked for some but think it came down to who clicked the complete button first

Decided to swerve Easyjet and went straight for Vueling. After two failed attempts at the payment stage I bailed out and switched to Wizzair only to repeat the process and bail out when two tickets on a lawnmower were over 700 quid.

Now flying to Florence late Wednesday and back Friday evening.

Didn't wait for our name to be announced as my wife saw Brighton on the paper, so straight onto BA, and didn't get thrown out and was able to use Avios.

Only slight problem was the hotel, as despite sending me a code, my bank decided to decline the credit card payment for security reasons.
All sorted out eventually.

Only downside is my wife will be dragging me around Rome to see every church and Roman ruin.

Managed to get a Tues Out, Friday return for £144 all in from Gatwick within a few mins of the draw. Tempted by the train but couldn't be bothered. My Mum is flying in and out of Pisa and then getting the train. Had Easy Jet website open, glad it wasn't Qarabag, as had a flight directly in mind, so was going to have to kamikaze through skyscanner to get it.
