We have a zero tolerance approach to homophobia. 1 week ban issued.
Looks like a lot of posters don't understand the airline's dynamic pricing models. Of course prices will rise at payment stage if more seats are sold in the time between you searching for them and trying to confirm payment. The price shown is only valid at point of search request.

We managed to get BA on Vueling from LGW for just over 200 each.
Gay post alert !

Heathrow to Rome via Brussels at 1105 Wednesday
Rome to Heathrow via Zurich at 0940 Friday

Got to be in Heathrow at 1600 to pick the wife up after her 3 weeks yoga retreat thing in India so she will be none the wiser I was out there .😉
Yoga retreat she told you . I think it’s going to be a very close run thing which one of you two reeks the most of stale Prosecco with tales of where you have and haven’t been 😀

Learnt my lesson from Marseille so booked direct flights. After failed attempts with EJ and BA I did look at Heathrow / Stansted but the early flights make it a false economy. Eventually booked Tuesday-Saturday from Gatwick with Wizzair £285, paid extra for checked bag / pick of seat and decent times. Will book accommodation later.

I had to rearrange something to know I could travel, and by that time all the direct flights were sold out or stupidly expensive. Will need to train from Milan/Florence or stop over en route (which to be fair is probably less messing around). I have a hold on flights with Lufthansa via Frankfurt, any better options?

If a 5 hour (direct) train journey (only about £20-30 ew) is a goer for anyone, then Stanstead to Turin is a cheap option.

Return flights for c £50, so only around £100 for flights & train. Plus a transfer from the airport to the train station (45 mins by train, €7.50)

F***ing Ryanair though.

I've given up looking. I was out when the draw was made and was trying to book on a dodgy 5G connection. I had the same experiences that most people have had, prices more than doubling when reaching checkout, so I stopped trying. Now that I'm home, most of the alternative options have sold out and I'm resigned to watching it on the telly. I'll make sure I'm home for the draw if we get through to the next round
