I paid 67 how is yours cheaper ;)

I live in North London so Stansted better for me . I targeted these time flights when I looked yesterday so they work better for me
Ah yes. Still, I'll be going from a proper airport where you don't have to walk across a field, close to Brighton and where the flight will be full of Albion.

I targeted Stansted as I thought most would go for Gatwick. I managed to book in about 50 seconds.

And

I'm probably gonna be even more hated than ever now but......

It's Ryan Air. Does it actually land in Rome?

Living by Birmingham has distinct advantages for these European games. Some perfectly timed Jet2 flights which is something I thought if never say.

How long does it take booking.com to confirm. Booked flights and hotel and email says processing request, but concerned they may turn round after couple of hours to say not booked
Yep im in the same boat, payment has left my account but waiting for email confirmation from the airline

Well done.

All cheap flights to Rome had disappeared 5 mins after the draw.

Great effort to those that grabbed them before they were withdrawn!

Still searching. Was on easyJet the very second the draw happened and it threw me out at payment stage.

Clicked all the way through again as quickly as I could, only to get this.

Also considering Milan now.
booked as soon as out of hat.

LGW to Rome wed 5th with Vueling.com at 19:55 was about £70, and return on Friday 8th with Wizzair Rome to LGW at 18:50 was 135 euros or £115

I'm looking at:

Tuesday
09:31 St Pancras to Paris (Nord)
13:51 Paris (Est) to Stuttgart
17:14 Stuttgart to Munich
20:10 (sleeper) Munich to Rome

Friday
09:25 Rome to Milan
13:10 Milan to Zurich
Saturday
09:34 Zurich to Paris (Lyon)
15:09 Paris (Nord) to St Pancras

I'm almost ready to push the several buttons as I'm 99% sure I've got enough points for a match ticket. Just hesitating over whether there's a better option for a stopover on the way back than Zurich (although I've never been, and I'm sure it's lovely, and it's not like I'll be there long anyway).

Would probably have had simpler and quicker options if that landslide hadn't closed the fast France-Italy line but it looks like fun, not to mention jaw-droppingly scenic.

Nice adventure that. The excitement on that sleeper will be great knowing you'll wake up and be pretty much in Rome!

Had to go round the Ryan Air booking process 6 times with it throwing me out as prices increased once the tickets were in my basket. Outrageous. Got in eventually for a Wed flight out of Stanstead for £60. Gonna navigate coming home once ticket secured.
