Hmm. Expect it to double in intensity now that opposition fans think they've upset us.

Partner has also reported to police over weekend.would advise all those bothered/who view it as unacceptable to contact the football liason officer at brighton police station.also-really not knocking the club, but by saying is the f.a. responsibility means albion are not also dealing with the issue directly-so pressure needs to come from the police,f.a. and the club-initially by supporters and would be a real way to make a campaign and show what albion fans are like-as we have proved in the past against bullies.

I noticed that there was a paragraph in the Birmingham programme saying that homophobic chanting was not acceptable, encouraging fans to contact a steward or email the clubs safety officer after the game if they hear any such chanting or abuse.

Good. I have had a bellyfull of it and if I and others started the bankwagon rolling, I am pleased.

Was on the BBC Sussex phone in this morning, cut off, quite rudely in my prime before I could make my points. Anyway BHAFC should be making a stand, not the other clubs, initially at least and the club do the square root of diddly squat about it.

Well, that makes us look like complete bennys.

Is anyone really so sensetive that they allow it to bother them?

Not the real one
It's not the overall chants that are bad, they are just boring, it's individuals that shout and gesture some disgusting stuff in and outside the Amex. It's individual away fans that need to be thrown out and get their club fined.

Sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me....

On the contrary, words can be powerful. Keep telling a child that they're useless when they growing and 90% of the time, they will grow up being useless. A few may find it a motivation to prove others wrong, but that's the exception rather than the rule.

Banter is acceptable but where do you draw the line? We can see you holding hands/ does your boyfriend know you're here is banter and everyone accepts that, but there has been obscene chanting recently at Leicester and Millwall.

The fact that it is offending some of our more sensitive fans is I suppose reason to try to clamp down on it.

Personally I really couldn't give a toss, the last time I got offended by any thing like this I was 10 and called a bender in the playground causing other 10 year olds to laugh.

How old are you 12?

FFS

More to the point how old are you? Is racist chanting OK? I mean, sticks and stones eh?

Out of interest if a player announced that he was gay, you would be OK with fans handing out vitriolic and hateful abuse to him? I mean they're just words, no?
