Normally it would be London Bridge, but as she died in Scotland, Operation Unicorn came into it. That includes lying in state in Holyrood Castle, before returning to London by train to lay in state there.
A National Day of mourning and then the funeral arrangements.
Thank you Ma’am for 70 years of service to this country, even up to Tuesday. You have served us faithfully and diligently.

It used to mean all theatres, cinemas etc closed but things aren’t as strict now. It might happen for one night but it used to be until the funeral.

Not a royalist but recognise what a great statesman she was and feel sympathy for those who have lost a mum, grandma , great grandma and indeed her wider family of citizens who feel upset by by her passing.
