I couldn't quite see what happened but to boo him was a bit harsh and i didn't join in. He was pretty secure for the rest of the match apart from one incident with El-Abd early on. I think the fans just took it out on the first person they could for a poor performance all round. A draw was more than we deserved anyway.

Sadly, you are right.

We got exactly what we deserved from the game yesterday and as much as I believe Henderson maybe needs a rest, he alone wasn't responsible for our defeat. The rest of the team should shoulder most of the blame-if not all of it.

We were SHOCKING.

I personbally think it will be a total disaster to drop Henderson, not for us necessarily, but for the player personally.

In show jumping, if a horse fails at a fence, you dont just lead him/her away, you make them jump again until they get their confidence back.

I come back to my original point. If another positional player makes 100 mistakes he is having a bad game, in the eyes of some Brighton fans yeterday, he made 1 mistake ( that cost us the game) but he is now the Anti-Christ.

You cannot blame 1 person for 1 point in 15!!!!

can someone remind me was it 5 minutes that kuipers let in 3 goals against southend in the cup?.

It was; including a complete cock up of his own to contribute to one of them.

I can understand why hendo gets stick but he saved a pen a couple of days ago ffs, the follow up was the defence fault, anti hendo followers have been praying for this day.

In the first half we were chasing shadows......and when we had possession we lost it all too easily.Alround poor performance and we got what we deserved from the game.....nothing.Shame Hendo will take all the blame because the team as a whole put in another poor display, not just Hendo.

I beg to differ, but the person concerned is not Hendo, and in fact not even a player.

We are too one dimensional at the moment. If the opposition can stop our counter attack, we've got nothing else to switch to.

We start the match with a midfield player at right back, two central strikerswho are not good at crossing as wingers, a right back at centre half.

Later on we replace a centre forward with a left back who plays in central midfield, and move a central midfield player out to the right.

.......and then we lose

Least they were there.

People pay their money they are entilted to their say.

Although livid with Henderson, I did think credit to him for coming over and putting his hand up to apologise for the mistake.

I agree they're entitled to their say but their say and outright abuse/mockery are way ott.

Of course one is entitled to their say, but it is not constructive to boo one's own players. Particularly as he could have disappeared down the tunnel, without even acknowledging the travelling support.

Of course, as I did not go to the game I am not entitled to an opinion.
