I got stuck behind a load of the wankers on the M40 once. About 50 of them, taking up all three lanes and cruising along at
50mph for the length of the motorway. I’ve never seen anything less scary in my life.

That was probably the Institute of chartered accountants summer ride out.

A bit like the graphic designers guild 'comedy mod' trip to the seaside on August bank holiday

As previously mentioned in one of the Music threads my 2nd ever gig was 1977 Hawkwind at the Manchester Palace which came to a grinding halt when the Manchester HA's and the Gig Security went at it for around 15 minutes.

No doubt someone's Pimms had been spilt...

So did you flash your lights, toot your horn and tail-gate these "wankers".
And still they didn't move out your way ... should have nudged one off his bike and explained some motorway lane etiquette to him.

HA's are a bit like nitroglycerine - treat with the utmost respect when you come into contact, if you don't, you should expect to be at best, mutilated, and at worst, dead.
You were very brave ....

Quite a lot of HAs went to the Hungry Years in the 80s. There were also the Nomads and Vikings! Happy days

And at my first ever Albion game, Easter Monday 23rd April 73, Sussex Police had a mobile incident room opposite the West Stand and were asking people for information into his murder.

Did you grass Ian.

The Hogs lured the young victim to that van saying they had a ventriloquists dummy for sale. A sorry tale

IIRC they used to drink in the sadly departed Clarence in North Street portslade. (But I was very young).

They did security at an event I was at a couple of years ago.
They also steamed into a few years back and removed a load of t-shirts with the winged skull design on them.

Definitely still around.
