Our heating been on and off over the last week or so. It was 1 degree this morning and 1st frost to scrape off windscreen

Where do you live? Going to be a long time before the first frost to scrape off the windscreen here I think

On the verge of turning the heating on tonight. House temp says 16. How low is too low? :)

I think it was October 25th for me last year. Still holding out here. Temperature 19 degrees. Looks like we may still have another week of mild temperatures.

I last had the heating on about two weeks ago. This is my second summer with air con, I only used it for a few days last year. Generally, I shut the house down during the day, windows and curtains closed, but after a few hot days, the heat fully gets in. It was so good last year to be able to bring the temp down.

Getting warmer this week. Hold firm.

My original aim was to not have it on until November. I’m now thinking can I delay until December?!

Half an hour in both the morning and the evening has been the routine here for a while now in my icebox of a home.

It's just enough to make a difference.

Still holding out although Mrs DCH came back from India yesterday after working away all week and has been complaining how cold it is in the house so not sure how much longer it will be before I give in.

Winter duvet went on last night, but still no heating here in cold central. But the aga has been on in the kitchen for several weeks now...

I've moved from short sleeves to sloppy Joe. But still no heating on.
