Log store is fully stocked up, logged and kindling chopped up. Had the fire serviced last week so we're ready to go! The sunshine will keep the house warm enough today but tonight the fire might go on.
Not using the central heating yet. Greedy energy companies can f*** off.

It’s going to be a lonnnnnngggg, cold, winter :lolol: .

It did cross my mind WFH this afternoon. But I got warm later from mowing the lawn.

I don't get very warm sitting on my tractor mower....:D:D:D:D.

( One of the better things I have bought in my life ! )

No - it's quite pleasant here in Shoreham. Spent the afternoon in the garden in my shorts with a brew and the paper.

Just been sitting on Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth, lovely and sunny. Plenty of people swimming.
Heating hasn’t gone on yet at home, but it probably won’t be long now, or more likely the wood burner will be lit. A few more sea swims to be had when we get home. Hard nut old git!😉

A noticeable frost on our neighbours roof this morning, and 1.7C outside. Unsurprisingly the thermostat chose to turn the heating on for a couple of hours, but then stayed off until about 30 minutes ago.
