Absolutely not. I had to do a double take when we were walking across Sabina Park and she was singing with her sister "always s.... etc". She is the girl who trampolines for Wales.

And Cardiff was great LB. I have another nephew who has gone there to be a student.

I'm sure he'll have a great time. The accomodation and facilities here for the student population have improved dramtically over the last few years.

And, of course, he'll have the chance to watch CCFC in action. Which is a bonus for him.....

I received quite a few slaps/kicks & gobbed at after Hereford 1997 trying to protect my mates sister.

To be honest I wasn't too worried by the physical attack whilst it was going on (that's adrenalin for you!) - although I was shitting myself bigtime beforehand - I just remember thinking; "I hope none of them has a blade/bottle etc."

I was outnumbered by dozens to one - although not all of them joined in, obviously!

-----------

I also had quite a tangle with Italian police during the final World cup qualifier in October '97 - They are f***ing animals - I was lucky to live, to be honest.

Been arrested at seven away games.

Don't want to go into details really as I'm a reformed character and would like to leave six of those away games to rest.

But the last one was at Peterborough when I left of 3 red flares in the cup match. I got banned for the rest of the season and a £400 fine and had a letter from Martin Perry saying I had to meet him so he could tell me what is and what isn't expectable behaviour at a football match, did I go? Like hell i did.

And would I do the flare thing again? To right I will.

i aint been involved, but my dad had some pretty nasty collisionsn with west ham's on the train in the 70's., and he was in the palace pub before the the scum versus brighton match. And someone shouted out brighton fans are in here and my dad got chased and jumped on the nearest bus. But one of my dad mates was very lucky he got his head smashed in by the scum.

Remember the weekend in Eindhoven scrapping with the Molluccans Beachy ?

If memory serves me correct the huge front window of the bar went "west" so to speak and also wasn't a certain Stevie Foster watching the action from close range.

But did you Stand Tom? :)

I was at the Millwall (medical masks) and THAT 0-0 away game at Spurs! not nice.

I have witnessed a fair bit of aggro but, to date , I haven't hit anyone at a football match!

I would only administer a slap for self protection, or to protect a friend being attacked. (and that includes a fair few of you guys)

I love going to football home and away. Enjoy the banter but detest the violence - especially for those that don't want it!

If 50 Burberry's want to kick crap out of each other - fine but leave the rest of us to enjoy the game!

My old man used to go and watch Spurs when he was younger and went to the infamous UEFA Cup games against Feyenord which is attributed as spreading hoologanism to the mainland of Europe on the large scale of the english scene at the time.

His mate got them two tickets from a business contact and they arrived late and a little pissed. Spurs scored, they went mad, turned round and the whole terrace were staring at them. My old mad asked his mate where his contact was from, the answer? "Amsterdam". Bit hairy to say the least.

Had numerous scrapes with seaweed fans throughout the 80's,as someone said earlier the games at the gallstone were the best. How many times have you muppets been run through that park?
However, after a game at Selhurst I got split up with the rest and wandered the streets looking for our lads.Saw a group heading towards Norwood Junction chanting Eagles so thought we were trying to meet up with you lot at East Croydon.
Got on the train and started to gee everyone up about doing the scum even though I didn't recognise anyone.Big mistake! Turns out it was you lot singing Seagulls! Got a right good hiding and have never been so pleased to pull into East Croydon!
Don't suppose anyone remembers it??
Older and wiser now though.

I know who you are now,and I must admit that was well funny with all those Stewards looking for you!!

As for me,well remember the cars being turned over and burnt outside Selhurst park in the early 80s,well I was one of them involved in all that and also running across East Croydon Station railway lines to get at the Palace, and we used to drink in The Eclipse and go and meet a few of the away fans on certain games!!

But age has taken its toll and at 46 they are well behind me now

Happy days in a way tho!

1983 - we'd just knocked Chelsea out of the FA Cup. I left the Goldstone with my mates, they turned south to go home, I turned to walk thru the park towards where I'd parked my car.

Crossing the road to the park the crowd parted and an enormous Chelsea Skinhead was walking straight for me......I looked around for the safety of a copper but they were herding the away fans towards their coaches.

This guy was huge, he had a Chelsea shirt on, a scarf around his wrist, big boots, short hair, tattoos - the lot - and he was singing loudly. I thought my time had come.

He walked straight towards me - he reached out a left arm and grabbed me on the shoulder, he reached out a right arm (with the scarf on) and shook me warmly by the hand and said "Bloody well played mate - good game....."

Made my day!!!!

During the 60's and 70's violence at football was a fairly regular occurence. As a North Stander during that time it was almost inevitable that I would get involved,as away fans would often infiltrate that end with the aim of causing trouble. There were too many incidents to mention here but games against Millwall(in particular the time that their fans turned up wearing surgical masks in an attempt to avoid identification),Chelsea,West Ham,Tottenham,in fact any London club,,were usually accompanied by trouble on the terraces and around town.Of course ,matches against Palarse were the highlight of the season(on and off the pitch) and Brighton fans always gave as good as they got. It was a matter of honour not to run from the Shitehurst Park wankers.
Confession time now-I got arrested twice for fighting (once at The Goldstone and also at Aldershot).,and the 2nd time received a suspended sentence which brought me to my senses, and I steered clear of trouble after that.

hello SB Didnt know u posted on here brother
