I still believe in Gus but he has got to do something to turn it round fairly quickly or he will not be around to spend the money in January. Will he gamble with Hoskins on Saturday, at least on the bench.

Don't want Gus to go - He still has the makings of our greatest managers if not the greatest. But he needs more strings to his bow tactically. Probably complete bull about Rednapp - he is a great manager but he would only go to a club with money to burn, I hope that Bloom is too sensible for that road.

I hope not for your sake. You would be suicidal if Gus got the bullet!!....We will see, I reckon he has got two more games, to change our fortunes. Saturday and then Leeds.

Tony doesn't do make his business decisions by removing half of his brain and regressing to the level of your intelligence, nor your prejudices.

You've convinced yourself Gus is the problem, without doing the one thing the rest of us do - and you rarely do - thinking.

And you think this is about me? Get over yourself.

Come back to me in a month, if you dare.

Rightly or wrongly, no manager in this day and age can say his job is safe forever whatever happens......not to sure I entirely agree with that, but thats the way it is in footy and has been for some time.

Whether the OP is fishing or not is in many ways besides the point. I think a large proportion of supporters view Poyet as an almost untouchable figure at the Albion due to the great success he's had in such a short time. I would certainly have to question that to a certain degree. I will stress that I am in no way saying I think he should go, I'd like to make that perfectly clear. What I will say is results dating back to the last 15 games or so from last season haven't been good enough. We are clearly a good side but its the manner of the defeats that worry me. Dominating sides but consistently losing games and quite often not even managing one shot on target. A considerably amount of money has been spent and make no mistake as a lifelong fan as well as chairman Bloom will have no hesitation in making the change if things don't improve quickly. Anyone on here who claims Poyet isn't under an element of pressure at the minute is delusional. If we see another five games with similar outcomes to the Leicester, Birmingham, Ipswich and Boro matches I honestly believe Poyet COULD potentially be in trouble. I think the general consensus is Poyet would always leave us on his terms for bigger and better things but stranger things have happened in football

Also heard from a different source all is not as rosy as some think on here. The clock is definately ticking, think it would have been sooner if CMS has gone in the last transfer window

I rarely post, but that doesn't make me a JCL or bad fan.
I sit with the thread starter & I assure you, the love-in that some have on here with the manager is not replicated by some at the top of the club. Don't get me wrong there is much respect for Gus, however, at this level it is all about results. The manager is fully aware.

One minute a manager is untouchable and the next he is vulnerable, Poyet has been both this season

It's all part of there job and why they get paid (and paid off in most cases!!) very very large salary's.

The vast majority of people would just like to be a football manager for a few months!

amazed at the such easy dismissal of this rumour - HR lives south coast, likes a challenge and probably knows top 6 premiership beyond him now - put us against QPR and if HR wants 3-4 years with an ambitious chairman, great stadium and sufficient resources to cobble a promotion team together via his wheeler dealing to get us in to the premiership and then try and be mid table season after, I'd think BHA must be just about the perfect match for him (and in fairness for our aims of going up). QPR may pay more but that is a sticking plaster job and a poorly run club that will implode. The chairman here has not spent his millions to perhaps get lucky and scrape going up in the next 5 years to then come straight back down as GP found out as not being anywhere near as good as he thinks he is. Decent bet this if things don't seriously improve to point where we are top 3 by Xmas and in great form.
