Co-codamol which has been reduced significantly although I'm still on a fair dosage. That was for discolating my knee and I have to say that was less painful than having piles burst.
Never had piles but can tell you from experience that you need to come off the co-codamol straight away. I was taking this for a knee problem and couldnt go for days, horrible stuff and well known for blocking you up. get your doctor to change your painkiller as i did and things were back to normal.
Another tip... go to holland and barrett and get 1 litre aloe vera cranberry juice and some aloe vera colon cleanser, relieves you and makes your stomach healthier.

The only advice I can give you, from experience, is that if you are prescribed suppositories, chuck them away. I got given some once, tasted horrible and for all the good they did I might as well have stuck 'em up my arse. Seriously though,I hope you get them sorted.

I get a touch of the Farmers occasionally, usually find a couple of days on the old anusol cream sorts them out.
For instance, I had a particularly bad dose the other week, and when I got up of the toilet it looked like a halal slaughter had taken place down there...........a couple of days on the cream and all back to normal!

His name had to be changed by a moderator from something very naughty.
Sorry, I could not resist a crude joke.

I have had the same symptoms mildly after a hot curry or a diarrahia episode. I hope you can sort this problem out.

Ready for a serious answer? It's a most painful complaint that does little to generate sympathy as you well know. Couple that with the embarrassment you feel both in the discomfort and discussing the problem with your doctor and it's a total nightmare. On a personal level I suffered this from the age of about 24 until the final cure at 34, 10 years of misery! After plucking up the courage to seek proper help I first went through the 'stretching' procedure [thinking about it still causes palpitations], the failure of this led to the 'elastic band' treatment, another failure and further embarrassment. Finally after 10 years of hell, including a nervous breakdown that I still blame partly on the problem & treatment so far, my doctor sent me to the then specialist hospital, St. Marks in City Road, East End. A surgeon, Mr Thompson saw me immediately, informed me that in his opinion it was too dangerous to wait any longer so I was admitted there and then. Operated on the next day to permanently remove the problem, something that has a very high degree of non recurrence if the patient is no older than 35, it involved invasive surgery, yes up the a**e and not very pleasant, to add to my embarrassment I was prepared [yes shaved] by an 18 year old very pretty trainee nurse! The first few days after surgery were bloody awful but bless the Lord for bidet type toilets with a hot dryer.

All this is now 35 years ago and never a problem since. Yes my diet changed, serious cereals for breakfast, fruit during the day and dinner in the evening as normal. Strangely enough I never did eat or like 'junk/fast food' but plenty of fluids and fibre since have ensured the nightmare has never returned.

Hope this helps you and you get sorted soon.

On the ocean wave
Stick a peanut up there, then some chocolate around your hoop. It'll come out a Treet.
