that is the stigma that is attached to these types and follows them around, i remember a occasion when i was fishing the ouse at lewes around by the cuilfail tunnel when they had a short stay site on the A27, a young lad thought he had the right to go through my seat box saying he just wanted to have a look ,i had to basically spell it out to him that it was my property and that i didn't want him to go through my belongings he walked off with a disappointed look on his face this sort of behaviour must be imbred or there "educated" that way

whenever i've had travellers staying near me they've been fine (including once opposite my house)

some of them are horrible, but then some people from all walks of life are horrible

What I am saying is that the willingness of local householders to give work to travellers is one of the factors that attracts travellers to Brighton. If Brightonians are attracting travellers to Brighton, they cannot at the same time be demanding that they leave because they "aren't wanted".

When you say "willing to give work" and "wanted" does that include "manipulated into having perfectly sound roofs fixed" and "pressured into having tarmac dumped onto their driveways." ?

Maybe Brighton people are just too nice, middle-class (and frightened) to tell them to eff off.

Thjeres long been a problem in getting pikey kids educated being on the road all the time. Now if "chavs" can attract so much scorn for being ignorant and poorly educated why are pikeys any more likley to be an unfairly labelled minority?

If anything given their mobility this has the effect of encouraging/increasing lawlessness as the old bill dont know where they are living and are not "known" to plod.


I would expect a higher level of criminality among pikeys and in personal experiance haven't been disappointed. its laughable how the middle class pc brigrade rush to support them.

what "argument about" dandyman , there is no argument its just my opinion of him,and i dont have a "chip on my shoulder" about the white working class, i have anger about the way they have been f***ed by middle class tossers with a colonial guilt complex, a prime example of double standards yesterday was dandy man talking about eel munching pearly queens , when he would have been shrieking in outrage had i mentioned that knife and gun crime is primarily a black problem, whereas im quite happy to admit the truth , i.e binge drinking primarily a white thing , white collar crime same again. and why is it me who is "unhealthily obsessed"? i was merely responding to his post about me.

yet again you are attempting to put words into my mouth, i dont feel there is any conspiracy and ive never said that,my main gripe is with the allocation of council/housing association homes , in fact the list is virtually f***ing endless,and i cant be bothered , havent got the time at quarter past eight on a workday to go into it, perhaps at the weekend i will reply either by pm or resurrecting this thread.

I have had numerous encounters with Pikeys, none of them good. In my time as Security they were heavily involved with credit card and refund fraud, prolific shoplifters and extremely threatening and more often than not willing to use extreme violence. I was stabbed in the knee with a screwdriver by a pikey while trying to stop him and his son using stolen credit cards.

While working near Reading I had to walk from the train station under an underpass which was populated by Pikeys. They threw bricks at me, spat at me, and one time even tried to bundle me into a car saying they were Police and they had seen me try and sell drugs to one of their kids. Pretty much shat myself but managed to do a runner.

No, Pikeys and gypos deserve all the shit they get.
