And where are they now???...Poyet is not daft, going there would have been career suicide.....and are they bigger than us in the current climate???

Define bigger club? They were a Prem club at the time regardless of whether they could stay up or not.

Lol, so the fact they were stranded at the bottom of the table, doesn't make no difference, they were still a prem club...Your right, they were. I'm sure their league position had no bearing what so ever, on the fact everyone turned them down and they had to turn to poor old TC. I'm not getting into, the define bigger club game. The fact is we are currently on a upward curve, with a bigger average attendance, a chairman who backs the manager and lets him get on with his job, without sticking his nose in. Fantastic state of the art stadium and a training academy to match anything in Europe in the pipeline. I think if someone left that, to go to Wolves at the back end of last season, they would need locking up in Broadmoor.

I think that compares favourably with QPR atm even though there is still time to save them.

I believe a lot of chairman might be put off Poyet, he states all the time about patience and time taken to evolve. This doesn't sit nicely with many chairman's ideas of instant success.

Poyet wouldn't go to QPR as he knows deep down like me that they are doomed. He goes there and it'll be the end if his career.
