I'm more worried about him going to Palace personally, although I would've thought that Blackburn might have set their eyes on some more successful managers than Poyet personally

Premiership period aside, Blackburn are nothing more than a Burnley or a Preston North End. Utterly mystifying why this "Oh it's the Blackburn Job, and what a big job it is and I wonder who is going to get it?" bullshit persist in the media and among football fans. Who cares? It's only Blackburn FFS!

Palace fans thought that about Bolton.....money talks...

Mentioned on text this morning that Blackburn could be tempted by Maradonna.

PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

Yes please, if only because a touchline battle between Gus and Maradona would be hilarious.

you jest, however from what i read the Blackburn owners are approaching just about anyone with a vague link to Blackburn in attempts to find someone, because it seems no one wants to touch the job. theory goes Harry is only showing interest to force the arm of Prem clubs that might be looking for a new manager soon (i.e. QPR, maybe Villa).

I think that's the most sensible post on here.

We seem to be deluding ourselves that other clubs would want Gus but he's not actually achieved anything other than getting a good team out of League 1.

Very disrespectful Imo, there were many better teams than us and we got promoted with a average to good team. We are still improving the squad. Don't fall yourself to think gus isn't a good coach/manager, just because of winless run and others wouldn't take a gamble. Wolves wanted last season.
