Misogyny and harassment are not acceptable in the workplace and believe me, I saw someone escorted off the premises 30 years ago for it. Women do speak up, but quite often the ‘lad’ wont listen because it’s just bantz.

It’s to be expected I guess, the egos are off the wall for thousands of personalities. It’s full of types craving attention, professional show offs etc who are pampered and pandered to upon success. Even those yet to become all that famous are full of themselves before you even ask ‘em in my experience. Nah, a more narcissistic industry must be difficult to imagine than ‘show’ business. Clue’s in the name!

Also Sue Perkins is a professional comedian, timing and delivery and expectation etc mitigate her. Bit like Jimmy Carr, he does rape jokes I’ve seen on YouTube. Not saying I find them funny, but unlikely to get complaints because people knowingly go to see him expecting him to say such things. Greg Wallace however is a Greengrocer and hasn’t done Live at the Apollo as far as I know?

So there are people on here saying the BBC aren't woke enough for allowing people like GW to work for them, and now you saying it's the BBC creating a "woke scandal". Which is it? The BBC have suspended him because of his history of inappropriate work-place behaviour; he's not accused of a crime. If I made comments like he is reported to have where I work I would be on a disciplinary very quickly.
