Relieved to say that I don't think he looked particularly stressed. Quite like that his calm helps keep me calm.
Thousands losing loved ones due to Covid, Hospital workers being run ragged with huge personal risks and Loads in retail and hospitality have been fired and cant buy food or pay the rent, and poor old Potter is on what 20-30k per week with 5 years still to run, how awful.
Must be really tough.
Stress is stress, no matter what the cause. Yes, the consequence of him leaving his job would be different, but belittling someone with stress just makes you a bit of dick, and shows your complete lack of understanding of stress.
Guessing the news of Bilic’s sacking has got him nervous.
He has lost his dad this year, so hasn't exactly had it easy himself.
Prior to the Bilic Sacking I was of the Opinion that there was NO WAY that Brighton would be in the bottom 3 - I am not as confident now. It's not that I think Allardyce is a World Beater or anything but he does know how to target matches to grind out points. And with a good January Transfer window. West Brom could overhaul their Squad.
So although I am still confident. I am not as confident as I was prior to that Managerial Change.
Not fooling me. For months you've been pushing the narrative that Potter is some scared weakling while Tony Bloom is too proud to sack him. This is essentially more of the same shit, disguised as something else. The modus operandi of a gossiping teenage girl in the highschool cafeteria.
West Brom must plan to spend, Fat Sam makes that a prerequisite when joining mid season.

Right now, and as much as Id absolutely love to be wildly wrong. I feel more confident that Allardyce will find a way with the right additions for WBA to avoid the drop than we will as a club. But that's not just Potter, that's the recruitment team and what TB sanctions in the present times.
Would be good to know exactly how the recruitment structure works behind the scenes and how much Potters own recruitment fella, who he had all his previous success with is allowed to take the lead or if hes sidelined more in favour of Ashworth/Winstanley calling the shots??
Just watched his interview seams much the same as his previous interviews what concerned me more was at the end of the interview he says "we have to fight for every think"
"think" ?
He didn't looked stressed at all.
I'm with Swansman on this one. I think there is a bit of undermining going on which is disappointing, for what reason I'm not sure.
But it's all about opinions and there will always be plenty shared on NSC both for and against Potter.

When we had crowds, I don't remember a single Chris Hughton's Blue and White Army chant, neither for Potter. In my opinion, I don't think the fans have truly connected to a boss - or shown their vocal support - since Poyet. I have no idea why that is, just an observation and opinion.
Potter, like Hyypia, isn't exactly one to fire the crowd with their charisma and passion.
