I have had you on ignore for a year because I found you to be a complete arse-hole with no connection to my club.
You should reel your neck in or hopefully just feck off.
Happy Christmas:xmas:

To be fair, I put him on ignore for a bit after he called me a facist, but I find him generally entertaining and insightful, and reasonably sanguine when I take the piss out of some of his more fanciful notions about football-unrelated issues. ???

On this occasion, however, going Full Cantona on Kosh does seem somewhat peculiar

This is probably the first time on NSC when the expression 'being offended on behalf of other people' has actually made me smirk :lolol:

Carved into a tree just outside Norrköping you will find, if you look carefully: "Swanny 4 Potter "

Seriously? I haven't seen anything like that from Kosh. Sure you aren't mixing him up with someone else?

Hey,

In fairness, in a recent thread, I did suggest that sacking Graham would involve certain members of the boardroom, admitting a mistake and swallowing a bit of pride - hence I suggested it wouldn’t happen - I didn’t however, suggest it should.

As for the other stuff, I haven’t suggested anything more than GP is perhaps too nice at times - I accept I could (like many, many others and our combined strike force) be somewhat wide of the mark.

I think our new friend has taken me very literally (when I’m being tongue in cheek - in other threads)
, but as for waging a persistent anti Potter campaign - not so.

For the benefit of everyone, this is not some clever attempt to undermine Graham... it’s sincere. I say again, let’s get behind him and the team. No subterfuge, no riddles, no games.

I’m backing GP - what I saw last night more than anything, made me realise how hard he’s working.. if I have said things out of turn, I retract them wholly.

Anyway, once an asshole, always...

Lol

35 years of watching the Albion flopping managers have always had stick from the fans what’s new in 2020? We should start taking their feelings into consideration:facepalm: It’s all part of the game if you can’t handle it step away from the fire.

Thing is, we've all been saying this for the last few seasons - "Let's hang-on until January/July, and then we can sign a half-decent striker and then start climbing the table".

Yet after 4 seasons of this, I for one am starting to climb the walls.

I guess that comes down to how much you see treading water in the Premier League as a bad thing - aka the go-to NSC debate at the moment.
Personally, I just love seeing Albion in the Premier League. It wasn’t so long ago that I never thought it would happen, and it probably won’t last.
I can totally understand those who are disappointed with the realities of the Premier League though.
As for the need for forward players. I wonder if the club’s fingers were burnt with big investments that haven’t delivered. Now the club has gone too far the other way.

Yep - he was not looking good was he...? under immense strain.

I know there’s those who feel - heck; it’s part of the job... deal with it mate... I get that... it’s just about a general negative attitude and what that can wreak on a person.

Well, I’m stopping being negative. Lose on Sunday and I’ll be cheesed, but not enough to go full Wensleydale on Graham.

"Drifting into depression? Thinking about counting his money and his financial security?" is some very obvious and extremely distasteful mockery. What sensible ****ing human being makes speculates about the mental health of someone they've had no interaction with to then add in the next sentence "or maybe thinking about counting his money?". Sickening and making it very obvious that I was right when I called you out on your purpose of starting this thread.

You are taking this way too personally. Kosh is a good egg and is not deserving of the attack you are making on him. Everyone doesn’t have to think GP is the Messiah, and NSC has always been like blokes in a pub chatting and arguing, taking the piss and sometimes stomping off in a huff.

I enjoy your posts but you need to get thicker skin over criticism of Potter. Can I advise you to take a month off NSC if we get bullied and battered by Sheffield United again, you won’t enjoy the aftermath on here :lolol:

Thousands losing loved ones due to Covid, Hospital workers being run ragged with huge personal risks and Loads in retail and hospitality have been fired and cant buy food or pay the rent, and poor old Potter is on what 20-30k per week with 5 years still to run, how awful.

Must be really tough.

So earning good money means he can't suffer from stress and anxiety? What year is this, 1975?!

Cheers Icy, I’m a bit shocked tbh - previously our interactions have been cordial enough... hey ho.

Onward to a victory on Sunday.

If he's under stress now, what will he be like with 30,000 supporters inside the Amex when we are on a bad run?

Is it worse somehow? You know, the whole empty stadia magnifying the game ... I dunno, would it easier to hear the noise ? Boos and cheers alike? Does it become so analytical that you can’t sleep etc.

You’re probably right however... I’d certainly find it beyond tough !

He did look a tad run down last night, in fact I commented on it to my wife during the game that she was tolerating rather than watching.

However Trossard looked like he’d been on a long razzle

Thought he had dark circles under his eyes

Well, I've just watched it on the BBC website and re-read the OP to try and see if this is a bit of a storm in a tea cup.

And, I have to say, it's a storm in a tea cup.

Potter doesn't look that stressed to me. It's a normal post game interview as far as I can see it. That's Potter's demeanour and when he talks, he says what I was expecting him to say.

But I have to say that Kosh is not normally one for BS so my strong assumption is that he sees it differently.

And, er, that's it

I think, and I’m probably over sensitive myself tbh, I was just expecting a more relaxed GP - more at ease... we played okay... he just seemed off kilter to me, based on what I’ve previously seen from him.

Looking at it again, I can see the other perspective - it’s there too for sure... it’s more about the moments where I could see clear cracks... the VAR bit, the irritation around Sanchez ... he was, like I say, not ‘normal’ to my eyes at least...

Ultimately - it’s says more about me I guess, I could see stress and strain and I felt for him (yeah, maybe I shouldn’t) but I did... I felt guilty for being off on here when we lose to superb teams...

However, he is feeling it - probably should be... I like him as a coach and he seems like a nice man...

I’m starting afresh and will strive to keep it up.

I'm with you. Seems pretty bog standard Potter. If anything he seems ever so slightly happier/more positive than usual.

Keep up the PMA, it's a good habit. I can't see anything bad in the interview. Maybe it's his current haircut

He has lost his dad this year, so hasn't exactly had it easy himself.
