Wouldn't it be ironic if Palace moved into an athletics stadium just as the Albion get the keys to the new stadium? Palace fans wouldn't be taking the piss then, would they?

Did you read the link?!

Noticed one factual inaccuracy though:

"..........The negotiations are Crystal Palace's attempt to take control of the stadium and bring it up to modern standards. The much loved ground is in desperate need of a makeover and fans are eager to the work started......"

I did read it. As we Albion fans know, however, these matters can go horribly wrong. I hope that Palace's quest to find a new home runs smoothly. But if it doesn't then I for one will enjoy the frustration and anxiety felt by the sizeable proportion of Palace fans who have derived great pleasure from Albion's troubles during the last ten years.

Oh come on mate if the boot was on the other foot? And i might add that most Palace fans me included are delighted for you that you are getting Falmer at long last.

If you recall a fair few Palace fans went on the protest marches with you.

I respect the Palace fans that have done so. If your club had been mucked about as Albion has then I would have rallied to its cause. To be fair, most Palace fans have been decent. During the stadium saga, the biggest indignity that I personally, as a Brighton fan, suffered was having to listen to a bunch of halfwits in the Madejski singing "What's it like to see a crowd?". Most of the fans in the capacity crowd that day (in March 2002) were ours.
