Southwick

Enjoyable nights out in Southwick is the World's smallest book and normally you would be mad to want to come to Southwick and face the Soldiers and all the other single mum offsprings roaming around but I have thought long and hard and have come up with a few redeeming features

1. Place at the Square - a top notch chippy who do the best chips around
2. Chillies - pretty decent take away curry
3. Schooner pub - the only pub worth even considering going into
4. Tacos bar on the front - Southwick's very own " european feel " night out - eat a tacos and risotto whilst watching the sun set over the power station

Thats it. Also its a good place to park as there are no traffic wardens at all in Southwick but I suppose its because no one who does not live there would not in their right mind go to Southwick. In short its a shite hole.

What about your local ?.

Shaky Town, NZ
Seaford,

1. Close to Seven Sisters Country Park and Friston Forest
2. Links to Brighton, London, and Eastbourne yet remains quite peaceful, with the downs just a stone's throw away
3. Curries - The best curry house in Sussex (Bengal Palace)
4. Beer - Ridiculous amount of licenesed (sp?) premises compared to population
5. History - An abundance of history in the town, including the fact it used to be a major port (hence being a Cinque Port) and has a great history of smuggling.
6. The views - With the Seven Sisters so close (can be viewed from the golf course) who could ask for more
7. The weather - It's always sunny. Just as Dougdeep.

I have played cricket just about everywhere in God's own county, and NO-WHERE is colder and windier than Seaford.*

*East Brighton Park is a close second]

Didn;t you get ticketed once when parked at the entrance to the garages next to Ladbrokes ? I seem to remember a fizzing RANT on here from your goodself on that subject a while back.

And by Tacos do you mean La Cala, down the Ladybee Marina ? Cos I chuffing LOVE La Cala and their spanish tapas bar. Nice little patio amongst the boats, marvellous sun trap, and San Miguel on draft. Spent many a drunken sunburnt summers afternoon down there.

There is a busy train line which means escape from the town is relatively simple:)
