Glenn Murray is set for a sunny start to his Albion return - in Tenerife.
A deal with Bournemouth to bring the centre-forward back to the club has not been concluded in time for him to fly out with the rest of the squad to the Canaries today.
The Seagulls are, however, hopeful of sealing a season-long loan so that Murray can link up with Chris Hughton and his players on their week-long training camp.
Signing Murray permanently has been ruled out by Albion as Bournemouth are keen to recoup a hefty slice of the £4 million fee they paid Crystal Palace for the 32-year-old at the beginning of last season.
