disappointing so far - ok as support but will never have the charisma of Springsteen and the other greats

Never was that keen on Blur and this is very flat.

However very difficult to follow Neil Young or Springsteen who headlined the previous two days.

Actually wanted to see Rolf Harris but seen nothing yet, not even sure what day he was on.

Towards the end Blur were truly fantastic. Started slow but really picked up.

Does anyone know what that girl said earlier today when she snatched the mic off Suggs in the Madness gig?

Zane Lowe and Jo Wiley falling over themselves to tell us how monumental Blur were was funny. I thought they were very good but agree that at times they were a bit flat. The Universal was amazing though. When you compare Damon Albarn and Springsteen as front men the difference is unbelievable, I know they're doing different things but Albarn didn't seem to get the crowd going much - it was more the strength of the songs.

Been back home for a couple of hours or so after getting up at stupid o'clock to beat most of the traffic.

Had an absolutely phenomenal weekend with some amazing music.

Someone mentioned Rolf Harris above and he was amazing on the Jazz World stage on Saturday morning. The place was packed and he didn't disappoint.

I was a bit disappointed with Springsteen to be honest so we left after about 30 minutes and dashed over to Avalon where we saw The Wonderstuff put on a fantastic set.
